We really want to meet your little ones and we would be delighted to have children join us for the ceremony in Hens Church.

For the evening celebration and dinner, we’ve chosen to keep the wedding adults only.

Semi-formal

For Norwegians and Swedes, Bunad is appreciated

For everyone, we recommend bringing a pair of walking/dancing sneakers.

Weather on the west coast of Norway can be unpredictable,

so keep an eye on the weather forecast.

Having you with us is more than enough. For those who wish to give a gift, we would appreciate something homemade or a contribution toward artwork for our home — something meaningful that will remind us of this day and of you!

Our wedding will be in Isfjorden, but most accommodations (hotels, camping etc.) are in the neighboring town Åndalsnes - a 10min drive, 20min bike or 40 jog from Isfjorden. If you are not planning on renting a car, there is limited public transportation via bus. Otherwise, get to know each other and carpool!

For international guests, Oslo Airport Gardermoen (OSL) is the main entry point to Norway and has excellent train connections to Åndalsnes.

Total travel time from OSL to Åndalsnes: approx. 5,5 hours

The train arrives directly in Åndalsnes town center. We are happy to help arrange rides to your accommodation with family and friends.

Book train tickets here

Regular domestic connections from Oslo Gardemoen or Bergen.

1 hour by car to Isfjorden. From the airport, we recommend renting a car or arranging a transfer.

Bus from MOL to Isfjorden or Åndalsnes:

2 hours by car from Romsdalen. Some international connections and regular connections from Oslo and Bergen. From the airport, we recommend renting a car

We are delighted that many of you have decided to make a trip out of it! There is so much nature to explore in the area, here are a few ideas:
